What is included in the ONLINE option for individuals?
- Online course instruction is designed and led by the program’s co-author, Kevin D. Washburn, Ed.D.
- Course materials and training are current (updated summer 2020)
- The online course is open seven weeks so participants can enjoy the flexibility of a self-paced course
- Discussion board activities for participants from across the country invite diverse interaction
- Assignments and discussion boards engage participants deeply, allowing time for greater reflection and connections
- Instructor feedback is individualized and timely for every participant
- Two scheduled, optional Zoom sessions give participants direct access to this program’s co-author and course instructor
- Participants familiar with the online Architecture of Learning course will recognize and follow this course’s format easily
- Every participant who successfully completes the course receives three transferable graduate credits (NOTE: be sure to check with your graduate program prior to enrolling)
- Course materials—course book (2020 update) and Toolbox (2020-21 update)—are not included in the course enrollment fee
- Spring 2021 course enrollment fee: $255 per person (NOTE: The next time this online course is offered, the course enrollment fee will increase to $345.)

- The online course dates are set to fit your school’s calendar and are open for seven weeks; participants can enjoy the flexibility of a self-paced course (minimum 7 participants)
- Discussion board activities foster a common language and knowledge base among your staff
- Assignments and discussion boards engage participants deeply, allowing time for greater reflection and connections
- Instructor feedback is individualized and timely for every participant
- Two scheduled, optional Zoom sessions give participants direct access to this program’s co-author and course instructor
- Participants familiar with the online Architecture of Learning course will recognize and follow this course’s format easily

What is included in the ON-SITE option for schools?
- Course instruction is designed and led by the program’s co-author, Kevin D. Washburn, Ed.D.
- Course materials and training are current (updated summer 2020)
- The on-site course is five, consecutive six-hour days
- In-person discussions foster common language and knowledge base among your staff, and explore how implementation can meet the school’s mission
- Assignments and discussions engage participants deeply, allowing time for greater reflection and connections
- Instructor feedback is individualized and timely for every participant
- One two-day, in-person visit by Dr. Washburn in the school year following course completion for training in Beginning Reading and Content Area Reading, plus classroom visits and feedback.
- Three transferable graduate credits are available to each participant who successfully completes the course (NOTE: be sure to check with your graduate program prior to enrolling). An additional graduate credit fee per person applies.
- Course materials—course book (2020 update) and Toolbox (2020-21 update)—are not included in the course enrollment fee
- On-site course fee: $11,970
- Fee includes: the Foundations & Frameworks Basic Course, all instructor expenses for the 5-day course AND the 2-day follow-up visit (travel, lodging, meals). PLUS, one-year free access to the Foundations & Frameworks Basic Course video library AND the Architecture of Learning video library.
- ADDITIONAL OPTION: This course can be scheduled in conjunction with the three-day Architecture of Learning course.
- On-site course fee for Foundations & Frameworks AND Architecture of Learning: $17,540
- Fee includes: the Architecture of Learning Basic Course and the Foundations & Frameworks Basic Course, all instructor expenses for the both courses (8 days AND the 2-day follow-up visit (travel, lodging, meals). PLUS, one-year free access to the Architecture of Learning video library AND the Foundations & Frameworks Basic Course video library.
Lead the HYBRID course for your school
A good option for schools with a certified F&F Trainer on staff
What is included in the HYBRID option for schools?
- Course instruction is designed by the program’s co-author, Kevin D. Washburn, Ed.D. and led by the school’s in-house certified Foundations & Frameworks Trainer
- Course materials and training are current (updated summer 2020)
- The Foundations & Frameworks course can be scheduled at the school’s convenience and completed in five six-hour days
- Activities prompt direct discussions that foster a common language and knowledge base among your staff
- Assignments and discussions engage participants deeply, allowing time for greater reflection and connections
- Instructor feedback is individualized and school-specific for every participant
- Graduate credit is NOT available with this option
- Course materials — course book (2020 update) and Toolbox (2020-21 update) — are not included in the hybrid subscription
- One-year subscription fee: $345 per school
- Fee includes: one-year access to the Foundations & Frameworks Basic Course video library AND the Architecture of Learning video library
- ADDITIONAL OPTION: One two-day, in-person visit by Dr. Washburn in the school year following course completion for training in Beginning Reading and Content Area Reading, plus classroom visits and feedback.
